Why education?
People who have been educated do not become enemies of the United States. They have other means of surviving economically and have been exposed to ideologies other than those of the extremists.
Did you know that many young men in Afghanistan and Pakistan seek their mothers' permission to join groups waging war against the West? Or that educated mothers deny that permission?
